Fun at the Discovery Center!

We went to one of our favorite places toady - the Discovery Center! I can't believe how big Elizabeth is getting, she can now work some of the exhibits herself!

The exhibit that we played with today is a tube that blows air out, and you put the tube up to a hole in the display and it makes something happen, one part is a whistle, another is a spinning disk that raises to the top of a tube and the third is a rubber glove that inflates.

While playing with it Elizabeth discovered that she could blow the air in her face - and she loved it! She did it over and over laughing hysterically the whole time!

First Ponytail

I bought some tiny ponytail holders and experimented with putting Elizabeth's hair in a ponytail and it worked! (Although I will admit it is a very small ponytail!) Elizabeth likes to feel it and say "po-tell" her version of ponytail!

Painted Toenails!

Last night I painted Elizabeth's toenails for the first time in a long time, probably the first time she really knew what I was doing :) She was amazed at how they looked and kept pointing and laughing :) What a girly girl in the making!

Fun Outside

The Fletchers have moved close to us and we have had a lot of fun going to play outside with them!

Maddie has a tricycle that Elizabeth loves to play on - although she only knows how to go backwards!

Uh-oh! Elizabeth took off one of her gloves, Maddie is there to help!

Putting gloves on a toddler can be a little tricky!

Making Christmas Ornaments

So I know this post is late, but before Christmas we made our own Christmas ornaments! We want to try to make them every year! It was lots of fun!

Elizabeth enjoyed playing with the dough :) She tried to eat it, but it tasted really yucky (it was salt dough!)

She helped press down and cut the ornaments out too!

Dress-up Fun!

We got a box full of dress-ups from Grandma for Christmas and we have been having lots of fun with it!!

There were lots of necklaces, and we like to wear them all- at the same time!!

Grandma also made some skirts and dresses, and every good dress-up kit has a pink boa!
