Pumpkin Carving Time!
Halloween Night our friends Noah and Savannah had a small Halloween party at there house. One of the things we did was carve our pumpkins! :)
Here is Daddy posing with our pumpkin before carving
Here we go!
Once Daddy had the top open it was time to dig in!
Elizabeth was not nervous about getting right into the pumpkin!
She was very curious about the inside
Several times she tried to eat the insides
The pumpkin was almost as big as she is!
Exploring the seeds
Lots of fun!
After carving our big pumpkin, Elizabeth got to color a small pumpkin
We were more interested in the cap to the marker than the coloring!
Sammy was having fun coloring too!
Mandy was working on carving their pumpkin while Cale helped Maddie color hers!
Finished product!
Proud Daddy!
Mandy hard at work
Here are all the finished pumpkins!
Mandy made a train on the backside of theirs per Sammy's request! (Sammy is in love with trains!)

Fall Day with Family and Friends!
Saturday we spent the day doing fall things with the Fletchers! There is a local family that runs a Halloween train ride - and they run it completely free! We thought it would be fun because Sammy LOVES trains! It was cold, so we bundled up and headed out!
They even had a water tower and a turnabout!
Here comes the train!
It's almost our turn to ride!
There were five adults and four kids packed into a tiny compartment, you can see John's foot on Kieth's lap because there was no room for his legs!
The track was decorated with mannequins dress in funny costumes, some "scary" and some very silly.
Here is a Mexican Mariachi Band
wave hello!
Time for some baseball! Batter up!
Ooohhh - a ghost train!
Family photos!
An Indian village
I am not sure I would like these doctors operating on me!
Super boy!
The train stopped at this "haunted House" and a man passed out candy to all the kids on the train
Elizabeth enjoying a lollipop...
Really enjoying her lollipop!
Family time!
Meow! It's cat woman!
Welcome back!!
We also went to the Rutledge-Wilson Farm to look at the animals and pick out pumpkins at the pumpkin patch.
All bundled up!
Playing with Daddy on the playground
"Oooooo" The playground had tunnels, and Elizabeth was crawling around in them with Sammy and Maddie :)
Goats!
Looking at goats
Ponies eating some yummy hay
Excited to see the ponies!
That afternoon it warmed up so we did not need to be bundled up so much! We went to the pumpkin patch, but they did not have very many pumpkins left, so we just looked at them and did not get one there (we already had one at home).
Evaluating pumpkins...
I like this one!
"ooo" Elizabeth spotted something interesting!
Cautiously taking a few steps...
Her favorite pumpkin by far was this little green one! It's stem was broken off and we found Elizabeth digging into the pumpkin to eat it!
We tried to get a picture of all the kids together...
Attempt One...
Attempt two...
Attempt Three...
Attempt Four....
Oh Well! Elizabeth loved the hay!
Hmmm.... What happens if I combine the hay with the pumpkin?
She hung onto this little piece of hay the entire time! She tried to pet the horse with it!
She really liked the horse, she kept wanting to pet him!
Still pointing at the horse!
We also took a hay ride
We then went inside the barn
The pigs were inside the barn too
They had a small play area filled with hay - this was Elizabeth's favorite place to play!
What a fun day!
