Happy Anniversery

16 years ago I met the most wonderful man...

And 12 years ago we were married!!

Our marriage has been an adventure, and I love every minute of it!! I look forward to the many years to come!!

Painting fun!!

We did some painting before bath time today :) Elizabeth has started "drawing" specific things. Usually a peacock, zebra, and elephant, but sometimes other things. :) Tonight it was Daddy and Mommy! This was our first time being memorialized in her drawings :) She was also painting "gentle" because I told her it would paint better that way. She was jamming the paint brush down really hard and getting frustrated that not much paint was going on the paper! She did a total of 3 pieces of art tonight. John is taking one to work to hang up in his office :) Who knows, maybe Elizabeth will be a famous artist someday. You never know!!

Trip to Kentucky!!

We made an impromptu trip to Kentucky for the funeral of John's uncle Joe last week. We were very sad to hear of Joe's passing, was a very special uncle! It was wonderful to see everyone, but difficult to think that Joe was really gone.

On our way we stopped at Great Grandma Nan and Great Grandpa Tom's for a short visit.
Elizabeth found Great Grandma Nan's exercise ball - and rolled it all over the house!!
Great Granddad Tom showing Elizabeth a bunny

Hugs!!
kisses!!
Reading with Great Grandma Nan
Playtime!!

Tickle tickle!!!

Kisses with Great Grandma Nan!
She loved riding on the cart!!

Out of the car - ready to go up to our room!
She loved the window in the hotel room. She could look right outside at all the cars, and she could hide in the curtains!!
Hmm.... Where could she be?
Peek-a-boo!!
Playing with Grandad!
On the way home we stopped at a play place to get out some energy and get out of the car for a few minutes!!

We had a wonderful time seeing everyone, but boy was it good to be home!!

Some Random Catch up pictures!

So.... It has been a while, sorry for all the delays!! Life is so crazy!! Here are some random catch up pictures!!

Elizabeth is finally getting enough hair to have "bed head" This is how it looked one morning when she went to bed with it wet!!

Peek-a-boo!! While playing with dressups, Elizabeth started putting the hats on her head, covering her eyes! She was running around bumping into things giggling like mad!

Granddad and Bobby sent Elizabeth this really cool palydough set where you "feed" Cookie Monster - Elizabeth loves it!!
At the park one day the kids were going down the slide together!
Pool play outside!
Hugs for Elmo!!!
At the park, the intense look is because she sees...
A "Keycock!!!" (Peacock)
Dress up time!
This is at Jumpmania, a place filled with inflatables. Elizabeth was having so much fun in the jump house I could not get her picture! I ended up with a whole bunch of her just out of the picture!!
This is also at Jumpmania, they have this inflated merry-go-round room to run circles in, Elizabeth loved running in a circle!

They also have this giant slide - Elizabeth was a brave girl and climbed up over and over!

This is a music day in the park with our playgroup!
Here is "Elizabeth's Max" a pet lovingly named after Grandma Julie and Papa's dog Max. Here we are feeding him. He is a well fed dog!
"Cheese!"
Again, saying "Cheese" She is showing off her single ponytail...
Her hair is just barely long enough for a small ponytail...
Close-up!
Another day at Jumpmania, but she did not feel like jumping, but instead she picked up a magazine and found a quiet corner to read!

Snow Day!

Every year Springfield has a "Snow Day" in the middle of summer!! It was a lot of fun - Elizabeth was not so sure about the snow!!

On our way!
There was a band paying music, so Elizabeth danced the whole walk there!
Standing in the snow!
We just are not sure about this snow thing!!
This is how they brought the snow in!
Carefully touching it...
and quickly wiping off our hands!
The best part - a balloon!!!
